Overlooking the slate beds and on towards Luing, this area of Seil was famous for its slate industry and the whole area is dotted with small islands which have been extensively quarried for this stone. On a peaceful evening this coast is idyllic - on a stormy night, dramatic! One of my favourite mainland ocean viewpoints.
